Approach
We aim to achieve this development by using a child centered teaching approach. This approach is based on the fact that young children learn through play and experimentation. Young children are naturally curios and active and they learn best when they manipulate real objects and experience things. Child centered education involves the teacher identifying the child's development stage and providing experiences which fit that level.
This development is achieved through a range of subjects like:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Health and Nutrition
- Computers
- Physical Development
- Music
- Creative Art and Crafts
- Science
- Swimming
- Indian Dancing
- Twe - Kondo
- Education Trips
- Free - Play or Drama
The diversity of our curriculum and our approach provides plenty of opportunities for our children to be active, to play and explore, to ask questions, to talk and discuss with each other and the teacher, to make mistakes and then learn from them, and to enjoy their early experiences school.
In every subject area, children are provided with experiences using common theme projects that demonstrate in a practical way, the concepts they need to acquire.
For each year group there is an appropriate school curriculum. Our school is divided into four year groups:
- Playgroup
- Nursery
- Kindergarten
- Pre-Primary
The teachers work as a team to plan the teaching of the curriculum through series of relevant themes. This ensures that each child enjoys the learning experiences.
Our Staff
All our teachers and assistant teachers are qualified in at least one internationally accepted method of early child Education.

Parents are encouraged to discuss these reports with the relevant class teachers. Parents are excepted to attend the mid - term Open Day and the End of term open day.
