Diwali Laxmi Poojan, Chopda Poojan / Sharda Poojan
A festival of inner enlightenment.
On this day, Shree Ram returned from Lanka after victory over Ravan. Whole of Ayodhya was lighted by traditional “Dip” ( flames ). This was one of the celebration in ancient tradition. So today people light candles in their home and Temple are decorated in a modernized way i.e. by Electrical lightings (bulbs ).

Today everyone should ensure that all the financial debts are cleared. Therefore people clear their account today and do not enter into new transactions until Labh Pancham.
Note: This 12th day some time may be overlapping due to lunar day on which Hindu calendar is based.
Labha Pancham Kartik Sud 5
This day falls on kartik sud 5, which is the final day of this long festival season of Diwali. During this period, all the businesses are closed. For those who did not perform Laxmi Poojan on Diwali, should perform poojan to their new ledgers today and open the shops and businesses. People also invite relatives, business friends and offer them Ladoo’s to sweeten their relationship.
